doc project: basecamp project
fearoffish : February 26th, 2007
As part of our planning and overall management, I thought it would be a good idea to let everyone have access to the basecamp project we’ve made to keep track of our todos. So if you’d like to check out the todo list for our documentation project, or leave a comment to let us know we’re missing something (which we will be somewhere, so please do), then hop over to our basecamp address and log in with these details:
Caboose Documentation Project Basecamp
- user: guest
- pass: guest
Please be sure not to abuse it or I’ll have to shut down access which would be a shame.

I’m in the camp that thinks the Rails docs are generally helpful enough, but I just noticed that it would mike my life a lot easier (and presumably others) if the PrototypeHelper documention gave an preview of the generated javascript. Hey in general it would be nice to see javascript/html previews of what the results of certain helper calls are.
I realize this is probably the LAST place to put a ticket on documentation, but I logged into the basecamp as guest, and found I only have read-access.
Thanks, and maybe there should be a link to the proper place to make these requests, somewhere in this post, I ‘spose.

That’s one thing that I wanted to go back and add to that patch for PrototypeHelper was the generated output (for most methods, at least); I was in a hurry when I was finishing it up and messed a couple of things up. I’m hoping to get around to playing with it tonight…
